Google Local Services auto responder for electricians
People find an electrician on Google when something has gone wrong or a project has a date on it: half the house without power, a breaker that trips again, a charger for a car arriving next week. The message through the ad is short, and it usually leaves out the detail that decides the job.

What Google Local Services costs electricians
One question sorts a fault from a project
“Outlets in the kitchen stopped working” could be a tripped GFCI or a failed connection behind the wall. The first reply asks whether anything is warm, buzzing or smells burnt. The answer tells you how soon you need to go and what to bring.
Charged per lead, ranked on response
Local Services bills each valid message lead, whether it becomes a panel upgrade or a single outlet. Google also looks at how quickly you respond when it ranks ads, so the message you answer from the truck at the end of the day is the one you paid for and got least from.
A real request, and the reply that goes out
New leadreplied in 60s
Half the outlets in my kitchen and living room stopped working last night. Breaker looks fine, flipped it a few times and nothing. House is from the 70s.
That pattern — a run of outlets out together, breaker looking normal — is usually a failed device in the circuit rather than the panel, and in a 70s house it is often a back-stabbed connection that finally let go. Worth looking at soon; it can arc. Do any of the dead outlets have a small reset button on them?
How leads behave in this trade
Demand patterns, seasonality and what wins a job are the same whichever platform the lead came from — we cover that on the page for electricians. This page is about what Google Local Services specifically adds to it.

Questions about Google Local Services from electricians
Will it price an EV charger or a panel upgrade?
Only from prices you have put in your price list. Panel size, distance from the panel and permits change the number, so otherwise it asks about the panel and says you will confirm.
Does it get the customer’s phone number?
By default the first reply asks for it, so you can call back about anything that sounds unsafe. You can turn that off in settings.
Can I read the replies before they go out?
Yes. Turn on “Hold replies for my approval” and each answer waits for you to send it.
