When a payment fails

If a payment does not go through, replies stop across every business on your account. Leads keep arriving and stay in your dashboard; the AI simply does not answer them.

Why it stops immediately

There is no grace period, and that is deliberate. A reply sent on your behalf is a promise made to a customer in your name. We are not willing to keep making those promises on an account we can no longer bill.

Stopping is also the honest failure: a bot that quietly keeps working while the bill goes unpaid ends with a much larger conversation later.

What is not affected

Your marketplace connections stay authorised — nothing needs reconnecting — and your settings, business profiles, and message rules are untouched.

Conversations already in progress stay in your dashboard in full, and you can still reply to customers yourself from the marketplace, as you did before us.

Getting running again

In Billing, pay the open invoice with the “Pay the open invoice” button — with a new card if the old one was declined. Replies resume for new leads as soon as it is paid. If the stop came because the trial ended without a card, adding a card is enough.

Leads that came in during the stop and are less than a day old are answered as soon as the payment goes through, follow-ups included — and like any answered lead, they are billed.

Older ones are not answered automatically: a reply arriving days late reads worse than no reply at all. Instead you get one email saying how many are waiting for you.
