Why you and not the customer
Calling the customer first would leave them listening to silence while your phone rings somewhere else. Connecting without your keypress would risk joining them to your voicemail, which reads as being called and hung up on.
It also means a person chose to make that call, which matters for how automated calling is regulated.
What happens on the call
- Your phone rings from your business number.
- You hear who the lead is and what they want.
- Press 1 and we dial the customer. Do nothing and we hang up politely.
- If voicemail picks up, we hang up without leaving a message.
Which leads trigger a call
Leads scoring above your call threshold — 60 by default — plus anything triaged as urgent, whatever its score. One call per lead; chasing again is your call to make, not ours.
Set the threshold higher if your phone rings too often. A ringing phone you start ignoring is worse than no calls at all.
